1. ELIGIBILITY: The Human Energy Health and Wellbeing Award (“Award”) is open only to organizations operating withing the global energy sector. 
   
   
2. AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL RULES: By participating in this Award, the entrant fully and unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Award. The Sponsors (i.e. Response Plus Medical and Burjeel Holdings) reserves the right to modify these official rules at any point in time. The applicant is expected to review the official rules periodically.
   
   
   
3. ENTRY PERIOD: The participation in the Award ends on 30th September, 2025 at 11:59 PM (UAE Time). 
   
   
   
4. HOW TO ENTER: An organization (“Entrant”) may submit a singly entry in the Award through an individual representing an organization.
   • As an individual: As an individual registrant, you should be duly authorised to represent the organization and must be 18 years of age or older as of 1st April, 2025.
     
     
     

     Terms of Entry:

• When submitting the entry, the uploaded text must address the judging criteria.
• The project featured in the entry must evidence measurable impact
• During the Entry Period, visit the Human Energy Health and Wellbeing Award portal Human Energy Health and Wellbeing Award, complete the online form, and share all details as mentioned therein.
• Entries are limited to the free text boxes with a maximum of 6000 characters per text box and no additional images, spreadsheets or accompanying documents will be considered.
• The entries submitted must have been legally created and must not violate the laws, regulations or public policy of any state.
• The entries must not infringe on the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights, or any other legal or moral rights of any third party). 
• The entries must not invade privacy or other rights of any person, firm or entity, and must not defame, disparage or invade the publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any person’s personal or proprietary rights.
• The entries must not be obscene or indecent and must not include nudity or pornography. It must not contain defamatory statements (including but not limited to words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic group). Also, it must not include threats to any person, place, business, group or world peace; and must not depict any drugs or unlawful, immoral or dangerous acts, or suggest that any individual should undertake any such act.
• Entrant (on behalf of the organization) represents that the organization owns or has procured all necessary rights to submit the entries (including the documents, videos and any other information contained therein) in the Award, including any elements appearing in a video, including without limitation music, audio, speech/voiceovers, stills, video, supers, or other audiovisual materials. 
• Entrant (on behalf of the organization) represents that the organization: (1) is an entity identified as the entrant, and (3) has agreed and consented to these Official Rules and authorized the individual entrant or Team Representative to represent and act on its behalf.

If an Entry fails any of the instructions above, it will be disqualified.

5. JUDGING: A qualified panel of judges will judge all eligible entries based on the judging criteria and the highest scoring 10 entries will undergo an audit. The entries qualifying the audit will then advance to the Final Round. The Finalists will be notified via the registered email and will be asked to present their entry to the panel of judges. Top scoring entry selected by the judges will then be declared winner at a later date. The Sponsors’ decisions on all matters pertaining to judging, administering and/or interpreting the terms and conditions of this Award are final. 

6. GRANT OF RIGHTS TO SPONSOR: All intellectual property rights vested in the entries submitted belong to the Entrant. The judges will be judging the event purely based on the data being presented by the Entrant. The judges will not attempt to verify the rightful owner of any of the intellectual property rights vested in the entries at any point in time either during or post completion of the event. The judges / Sponsors will assume that the Entrant is either the rightful owner of the entry or has procured the necessary licenses. In case of any infringement claim against an entry, the judges / Sponsors will not bear any responsibility and will expect the Entrant to resolve the infringement claim. However, by submitting an entry, Entrant irrevocably grants Sponsors the unconditional and perpetual right and permission to reproduce, encode, store, copy, transmit, publish, post, broadcast, display, publicly perform, adapt, exhibit, edit and/or otherwise use or reuse (without limitation as to when or to the number of times used) the Entrant’s submissions, including, but not limited to, the documents, videos and any other information contained therein (in each case, as submitted or as edited/modified in any way by the Sponsors in their sole discretion), as well as to use Entrant’s name and/or statements regarding its participation in this Award (with or without using the Entrant’s name) in any and all media without limitation as to time or territory, and without additional compensation or approval from the Entrant or any other party. Entrant and each team member waive intellectual property rights, publicity rights and other legal or moral rights that might preclude the Sponsors’ use of the submissions (including the documents, videos and any other information contained therein), and agrees not to sue or assert any claim against the Sponsors for the use of the submissions.

7. PRIZE: The Sponsors will provide an award of USD 1 Million as cash prize to a single winner. 

8. WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winner will be notified via e-mail using the information provided with their entry. Potential winner will be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release within seven (7) days of attempted notification. Sponsors retain the right to verify the accuracy of information provided by winner, whether relating to eligibility or to any other matter. In the event a potential winner does not return documents in a timely manner, or accept the prize, or if the prize notification or prize is not deliverable, or the potential winner is ineligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next highest scoring remaining Finalist, at the Sponsors’ sole discretion, even if the disqualified potential prize winner’s name may have been publicly announced. All local and federal laws and regulations apply to participation in this Award. Taxes on prize are solely the responsibility of winner. Winner is advised to seek independent counsel regarding the tax implications of its respective prize winnings. It is the responsibility of the Entrant to pay all applicable taxes.  Entrant will defend and hold harmless Sponsors from any disputes relating to distribution of the prize amount, or payment of taxes owed on the prize amount. The potential winner is subject to verification by the Sponsors, whose decisions are final and binding. An entrant is not a winner of any prize, unless and until Entrant’s eligibility has been verified, and entrant has been notified that verification is complete. Sponsors reserve the right to verify that the project submitted is evidenced by measurable impact, and not just a concept, idea or mockup.

9. GOVERNING LAW: Entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Award or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, and exclusively by the courts of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Award, but in no event attorneys’ fees. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsors in connection with the Award, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules, which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the laws of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates.

10. WINNER: Entries and the name of the winner will be posted on the official website, press release and other social media collaterals, after the winner has been determined and verified.
